Parts needed:
Dash Lamp Bulbs?
Radio
Antenna
Headlight dimmer switch
Dash Board Lamp Dimmer Switch
================================
The list you have made up (below) is well done and comprehensive. I've noted a few more things.
- Dash lamp dimmer switch (Lights function but do not dim. Not sure but could be the switch (TRF
part number LU78520 List $90.55 sale $79.91.)
- Dash lamp bulbs
- Mount right hand mirror (My PA DL restricts me to driving cars with two mirrors.)
- Tighten up left hand mirror. Don't want to fail inspection because of a loose mirror.
- Windshield washer. The wiper switch is definitely the washer switch also. A new switch is not available. Perhaps the switch works and the problem is in the wiring.)
- I'd like to install the hood release cable in addition to the cable that is there. If one breaks the other is there to open the hood.
- Squeek in steering column when the wheel is turned.
------------------------------------------------
For road worthiness:
- Oil and filter change
- Reliable battery/charging/electrical system
- Air filter checked/cleaned/replaced
- Carbs adjusted and filled with oil
- Clean and gap spark plugsCheck distributor, points, rotor, wires
For inspection:
- Replace Bright/Dim/Dip steering column switch
- Reassemble interior
- Check the systems listed below for functionality as per inspection criteria from the Penndot
What are the inspection criteria for passenger cars and light duty trucks?
Safety inspections for passenger cars and light-duty trucks require that the following items be
checked:
suspension components, steering, braking systems, tires and wheels, lighting and electrical
systems, glazing (glass), mirrors, windshield washer, defroster, wipers, fuel systems, the
speedometer, the odometer, the exhaust systems, horns and warning devices, the body, and
chassis.
For most vehicles in the 42 county, Non-I/M region this safety inspection will also include a
Visual Anti-Tampering Check. The Visual Anti-Tampering Check is an examination of the vehicle to
see if the required emissions components have been tampered with or removed. For more
information concerning the 42 County Visual Anti-Tampering Check please reference Section 175.80
of Subchapter E, of the Vehicle Equipment and Inspection Regulations.
For a complete list of the rejection criteria for passenger cars and light duty trucks, please visit Subchapter E of the Vehicle Equipment and Inspection Regulations.

(1) Tyres
Some websites with info on tyres:

Also - From Bob
I checked with Bob at Westend. He cannot get that size either. They looked up a cross reference
sheet and that indicated the correct size for a 1975 TR6 was 205/70 R15. This size they can get
in many different types of tires.
I told Bob about the problem I had with the last set of tires (spare not fitting in the trunk)
and he said he would try one out first and if it does not fit in the trunk he could look further.

(2) Radio

Speaker mounting depth 2 inches

Cutout diameter 4 inches
Mounting screw width 5.75 inches

I Found a picture of the of the way I would like the radio to look. This is an installation of a
Retroradio that you found. I called them yesterday and I have some measurements for the two Euro
faceplates that they have.

have attached some images of '75 TR6
interiors. From what I've read a Lucas radio may have been used originally but
many people didn't order it with a radio. they put one
in it themselves. I read a post from one of many websites I visited that when a
TR6 is at a show the radio isn't looked at. As long as the radio is installed
in the correct place and there are no extra speakers installed then no points
are taken off.
AsI look at the images I have it seems that most of the radios have black
knobs and black faces with a little chrome trim. I'll look and see if this
radio is available that way.

AsI Two radios
model 1 and 'Classic' Classic is $100 cheaper; does not include remote control
and remote mount USB flash and sd card input. I don't
see myself using these extra features so the classic looks like the better buy.
The classic, on one web page, says it only comes in the chrome face plate. On
another page it shows the chrome and black face plates. Found another web page
for the 'classic' model. This shows a nice rectangular black faceplate for Euro
cars. It mentions the Triumph. The dimensions of the face plate are: Please be
sure to check the measurements of our plate AND YOUR DASH (plate dims:
6.48"w x 1.97" h, Center to center shaft distance is 5.15")
prior to ordering. If this fits I'd like to go with this one.

The metra antennas are sold at AutoZone as well as online. I saw the 44-UA200 at AutoZone in Linden for $21.99.
Let me know what you think.
I also looked at the antenna info you sent me. Retro also sells the antenna that you found.
(The one that mounts to the windshield with suction cups I think is the best way to go.)
